If you want to be more flexible and rent a car there are several tours you can do on your own.

Mountain Pine Ridge Area

Its only a 60 minutes drive to this area. You can visit the butterfly farm, the 1000 foot falls 1000 foot falls, Big Rock, 5 sisters falls and many more beautiful spots.


Visit the traditional Mennonites in Springfield or just drive to Spanish Lookout and experience the ambitious community of the modern Mennonites.


Xunantunich is an ancient Mayan site located on top of a ridge above the Mopan River, well within sight off the Guatemala border.

Belize Botanical Garden

Belize Botanic Gardens (BBG) is located approximately 10 miles westward beyond San Ignacio Town on the Chial Road in the Cayo District, Belize, Central America. It is nestled in the foothills of the Maya Mountains on the bank of the beautiful Macal River.

Belize Zoo

After a 45 minutes drive you will reach the Belize Zoo at Mile 29 George Price (Western) Hwy.
A visit to the zoo is the best way to get an introduction to the animals of Belize, and to understand why it is important to protect the habitats that sustain them.
