Experience the thrill and natural beauty of Belize on a full-day adventure combining cave tubing and zip-lining at Nohoch Che’en Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve, located about 45 minutes’ drive from Vanilla Hills Resort.
Your day begins with pickup at the resort and a scenic drive to the reserve. Upon arrival, you’ll be outfitted with helmets, life jackets, and headlamps, and your guides will provide a safety briefing. For the cave tubing portion, you’ll float along the gentle underground rivers that weave through ancient Maya caves. Along the way, marvel at spectacular stalactites, stalagmites, and limestone formations, and observe ceremonial altars and artifacts left by the Maya in this sacred space. The tubing portion lasts about 1.5–2 hours, combining paddling and floating as the river winds through the cave system.
After tubing, enjoy a zip-lining adventure through the lush jungle canopy above Nohoch Che’en. Fly over treetops, cross suspension bridges, and take in panoramic views of the surrounding rainforest. The zip-line course is designed to give guests of all skill levels an exhilarating yet safe experience, with guides ensuring proper instruction and equipment throughout.
