Your day begins with pickup at the resort and a scenic drive through the Belizean countryside to the Guatemalan border, followed by onward travel to the Tikal National Park. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your professional guide and begin exploring the ancient temples, plazas, and ceremonial complexes that have stood for over a thousand years.

Highlights include climbing the towering Temple IV for panoramic views of the surrounding rainforest canopy, walking through the Great Plaza, and visiting other remarkable structures such as Temple I (Temple of the Grand Jaguar). Along the way, your guide will share fascinating insights into Maya culture, architecture, and history.

The lush jungle surrounding Tikal is alive with wildlife, so keep an eye out for howler monkeys, toucans, and exotic birds during your visit. After several hours of exploration, you will return to the border and then drive back to Vanilla Hills Resort, arriving in the late afternoon.
